What is the best time to submit your resume on a job posting that is taking applications to a certain date?
Should you submit it right away or wait until it is closer to the deadline? Does it matter either way?|||well, there are two ways of looking at it in my opinion. If you submit straight away and you are one of the first applicants then there is the chance that they may look at it straight away and interview you before the application closes, giving you a good chance. If you submit it near the end of the process than your application may be very near the top of the pile, so gets a closer look. Personally I would try and get it in sooner rather than later as you are demonstrating good planning. That said I have seen jobs advertised with just hours till the application deadline and quickly rustled together a CV and have still got the job. So I guess it probably doesn't matter that much|||I would wait close to the closing date. Most employers go through and search the ones that were recently submitted. Think about your e-mail what do you look at first.
