Is it possible to pay a traffic fine for speeding before the court date assigned?

My court date is May 11 can I go to court before that and pay the fine off? Do I have to see the judge or is it just pay at the window? And I probably would have to do a driving defensive course, can I do it before the court date and submit it on the4 day of the court date? (more likely I know the judge would probably tell me to do a driving defensive course)|||Dont pay!

You can request to do community service.

I had a $600 speeding ticket %26amp; did not pay 1 cent!

They made me do community service for 60 hours at a church answering phones. So you get $10 credit off your ticket for every hour you volunteer, i did it on my days off from work so no skin off my back, this was right before christmas so i got to keep my $600!|||call that phone # or go to the address of the court on your ticket before your court date. I'm sure they can tell you one way or the other.|||unless its reckless driving, should be just a fine.|||the reason for going to court is to contest the ticket. if you don't contest, you'll pay the fine BEFORE the due date. Afterwards going to court or not will result in penalty fees. Most likely you won't be able to go to court before that date, but nothing's written in stone.
