How long does an officer have to submit citation/other paper work to the justice department?

I was given a citation and court date in Yuma, Arizona. The officer told me to call the court house in one week to see about my court date and fine. It has been a little over a week and I called today and gave my complaint number but they said they don't have any paperwork on it yet. How long does an officer have to submit this paperwork? Is there a time limit?|||Police officers have a lot of paperwork to submit.

Generally, it should take anywhere from 7 to 10 days to submit 'citation paperwork.'

I suggest checking back after 10 days.|||Statute of limitations is 2 years. Department policy may, and should, be a shorter period.
