What does it take for a mortgage company to set a closing date on a home sell?
My problem is that we have a contract on our house, the person who offered on the house has submitted all the necessary paperwork to their mortgage company, and has received her commitment letter back from them; however, a closing date has yet to be set. My realtor tells me that the ladys application is through with the underwriting, the commitment letter from the bank was received last week and we are just waiting on the mortgage company to get all of the numbers together and email that info to the title company. We have been waiting a week today, why can no one give us a closing day? How long should this take? We feel like something is wrong but no one will tell us? Any opinions?|||I use to do closings in an attorneys office for purchases and refis. there are a million possible reasons for the delay, but I am sure that none of them are acceptable.There is no reason why you should be waiting on the mortgage company if there is already a commitment letter. 99% of the time when I was doing closings it came down to the seller or the title company being the hold-up for the closing, not the mortgage company. I would call and seriously complain! As a seller I am sure you probably have your own deadlines regading your new residence. Your real estate agent needs to be sticking his/her neck out and bugging the heck out of someoen to get the ball on the move!|||In Texas, this is a common problem. My experience is that when a clear to close has been issued, it should only take 3-4 days for the lender to get the necessary papers to the title company. this next tax season i am going to be getting a very very nice tax return and i was wodnering what the earliest date you are able to submit your taxes is, also how long it would take for them to come back if you had the IRS direct deposit it? I plan on using this tax return along with selling my truck and money I have saved to move from TX to MA and live off of until i find a stable job there, any help from educated individuals is greatly appreciated|||If you save your paycheck stubs, and e-file your federal 1040, you could, theoretically, file before January 10. It would be wise, however, if you are using a commercial tax-prep software program (TaxCut, H%26amp;R Block at Home), then you will need to wait until the the updates are available and downloaded. Unless something has changed in the last 25 years, you will not need to file a Texas return, let alone wait for the update to be available.

How do I activate my AppleCare for my macbook?
I purchased a macbook from my university, and it comes with a 3-year applecare warranty. In the shipping box there is a note that says activate your Applecare immediately, however when I go to the website and click on "register your applecare," I get stuck after submit date of purchase, where it tells me my product is not eligible for coverage. What does this mean?|||You computer should have also come with and Apple Care Box with a CD. Have you already insalled this disc. This should be all you need to and it should walk you through your apple care.

Can you change info once you submit it to court under oath?
If you press charges against someone and when you submit it's under oath, but then realized you gave the wrong date...are you allowed to go back and say "oh wait, I messed up. I put the wrong date!" Also, if the judge finds out you completely lied...what can you be charged with?

If that is the case you are getting very close to that 30 day period.|||i would wait for the order cause that will give you more time to collect new evidence in the case.and to make sure that you have all evidence and witnesses in order.

After submit Provisional Patent App on USPTO.gov, how long does it usually to get confirmation of app date?

We are thinking about just leaving it be, and resubmitting it again, which is less costly. However, we are not sure whether someone can buy the rights to our first patent application if we do indeed leave it abandoned?

I'm creating a blog website. When a user submits a new blog, I want the blog to be saved into my PHP database, along with the exact date and time that it was submitted.
For storing the date and time, I have a datetime field that is set to "not null". I've tried leaving that field blank when I'm processing a blog submission:
insert into blogs values '$title', 'body', ' ';
(notice the empty quotation marks)
but, when I do that, the field in the database is filled with zeros: 0000-00-00 00:00:00 . I'm using this field as my primary key, so I can't have them all filled with 0's!
How do I get the database to enter the current date and time? I've tried changing the field to a timestamp, but that didn't help.

Fill-out SSS E-4 form, indicate the correction, attached the xerox copy of your birth certificate and submit it to them, they might ask for the original birth certificate for validation so don't forget to bring it. Usually, updates, corrections and changes such as this would be processed within 1 week to 1 month.

I have seen some videos that are over 10 minutes and the account has been added around 2004 - 2007. On youtube help it says that accounts added before can still submit videos over 10 minutes. Do I need to submit income information to the absent parent lawyer?
I don't have a lawyer, but I requested for a modification a year ago and the other party got a lawyer. They already continued the case once. I submitted all my income information to the courts. Now the court date has been rescheduled and now his lawyer wants me to send them my income information. Do I have to send them anything? I don't have anything to hide, but that's his lawyer not mine. How do you verify a birth date?
I don't need a copy of a birth certificate. I'd just like to verify a birth date. A parent has submitted a birth certificate that appears to be altered for a pageant, and I would like the verify the date before the pageant. Isn't births a matter of public record? In UC schools, do we submit the best of the SAT scores overall in each subject?
For example, the first time I took the test I scored a 670 in the math section, but the second time, I got a 720. My other two scores (reading and writing), however, were higher the first time I took the test. Does that mean I have to submit the scores as a set, like together since they were recieved from the same date? Or can I put the highest I scored in each subject overall?|||Nope all the scores have to be from one sitting meaning in a set.
Even if a trial date has been set, can a defendant change their plea to guilty and choose to pay a fine in NYS?
Basically a request for adjournment has been denied and the defendant does not want to miss a court date because there are severe consequences for that - so he would rather pay the fine. Yes, if your offense is not for a mandatory appearance violation. Pay the required fine prior to the court date. Just to be safe, notify the court clerk that you had a court date and decided to pay the fine instead. If you fail to pay by the court date, your license will be suspended.

Is it too late to submit a request for the Free iPhone Case Program?
I realize the free iPhone case program's official entry date has passed, but is it too late to at least try? I downloaded the app, and got as far to the point of which I was given the option to place the final "submit" key. Will anything bad happen if I go farther into the process, or will I simply be meet with a "date has passed" notification. I already have a case, but it's more curiosity than anything? I'm applying to one UC school and three Cal States. They start accepting online applications on October 1st. Should i submit my application on the first, or as close as possible to that date? Why can't I remove my birth date from my profile?
I answered all the questions when I decided to submit my profile, not realizing that my birth date and hometown would be shown. What happens when you miss a court date for spousal support?
I missed my court appointment Friday 8/15/2008, but prior to the date I had submitted a document 7/17/2008 asking for my case to be adjourned until my bill of review on forgery be heard in Texas which is 9/24/2008. I am out of state and can not make my court date for a required paternity test, how would I submit one?

I've been last week that I've got an interview for internal job against 3 outsiders. Today HR tell me that there is another outside applicant to interview who applied after the closing date. This does not seem fair|||It's been my experience that interviewers can and do whatever the @#$% they want. Which is why I hate them.|||It may not seem fair, but this often happens. Why do I disagree that it is only the woman who was meant to submit? If that was the case, then they wouldn't have both been told to submit. If a college's deadline is January 1, when should I submit my application?
All my colleges use the Common App and that's what I'm using to apply to them. I'm applying online and all of my transcripts and letters of recommendation have already been sent out. I'm just waiting to finish my supplements for schools and I was wondering when should I submit my application in and what's the latest date that I can submit it without it arriving late?

Question about a due date for my online college assignment?
On my Syllabus for my online college class, my research paper is due by midnight on April 3. Do I have until Saturday at 11:59pm, Sunday 12:00am or Sunday 11:59pm to turn it in?

I have written a script to check the date a user selects in a form and it disables the submit button if a past?
date has been selected, and sends an alert saying "Please choose a future date." But it does not reset the submit button once they do select a future date. The form name is "Availability" the Year, Month, and Day drop downs are named the same thing "Year" "Month" "Day" respectively. Here is the script, could someone possibly tell me what to add to get it to make the submit button available once the user selects a future date?

In other words, if the curMonth test fails, the date is good and the button should be re-enabled.

The application final deadline is Jan 7 so I was wondering how much they "prefer" Dec 15...|||A one day difference is not significant. Many preferred filing dates are actually set for the convenience and planning needs of the school. We need to determine how large a class is entering every semester and adjust housing, class schedules, faculty hiring/scheduling and - often most important - will the school reach our financial predictions based on enrolling X students. The sooner we finalize an incoming class, the easier it is for us.
From a student's perspective though, it is in your best interests to apply as soon as possible to take advantage of early course registrations (and get the classes you want at the times you want them), finalize housing if necessary and lock down financial aid.
