My birth date on my sss (Philippines) is wrong. How will I correct and change it?

The year of my birth shown on my sss document is wrong. I want to correct it before I apply for an sss card. Does anyone know what documents do I have to submit and the steps that I have to do to correct it? Same goes for my TIN document. I also want to correct my birth date there before I apply for a TIN card.

Thanks in advance.|||drop by to any of the SSS branches near you, prepare an original copy of your birth certificate and a xerox copy. Fill-out SSS E-4 form, indicate the correction, attached the xerox copy of your birth certificate and submit it to them, they might ask for the original birth certificate for validation so don't forget to bring it. Usually, updates, corrections and changes such as this would be processed within 1 week to 1 month.

Good luck!|||go down to your local SSS office , get two forms , take one to Manila get it signed , take the other to Cebu to exchange for two other forms , make 14 copies of all documents , then take a copy of everything to Manila . They will then give you a form to take to Lapu Lapu . Go there , pay them P275 , wait 10 days and go back to get the form to correct your date of birth . When you get that form , make 11 copies , send two to Manila , and give two to your lawyer whom you will have to pay P16,000 . Wait 18 years and it should be corrected . If not you may have to repeat the procedure agian .|||The steps to get anything done in the Philippines are as follows: ask relatives, ask friends, go down to the SSS office, wait in line and ask, visit several other offices and get several other forms and then come back to the SSS office and turn in your documents and then come back five days later and find out that you have to get another document they forgot to mention earlier, go get that document, turn that in and wait again, get told you didn't need that other document after all, and hope when you come back they don't tell you "you forgot" to turn something else in when in fact they've misplaced your file or one of your documents or really just don't know what they're doing at all until you get upset and ask them to please look again, that you did in fact give it to them, then wait and hope they call you back to let you know they've found it.|||Start here - http://www.sss.gov.ph/sss/index.html
