What happens when you miss a court date for spousal support?

I missed my court appointment Friday 8/15/2008, but prior to the date I had submitted a document 7/17/2008 asking for my case to be adjourned until my bill of review on forgery be heard in Texas which is 9/24/2008. I'm praying that it was adjourned, but if not can I resubmit a petition requesting for another date for the case to continue. Help|||I don't know about Texas law, but in Illinois, if you miss a date, a summons for arrest is issued. You better call the judge and talk to them.
