USCIS starts accepting H1b petitions on 4/1/08. the h1b petitions deadline depends on how soon USCIS reach the annual h1b cap. USCIS stopped accepting h1b petition 3 days after its accepting date. same as last year FY2008, USCIS may stop accepting H1B petitions as soon as they receive enough h1b petitions to meet the cap of FY 2009.
there is no deadline on L1 petition.|||april 1st is the start date, and if you are not submitted, most likely you will not receive a visa.
